Leading with AI Workshop on March 30th 2026 at Norlanka
Lanka Talents Creation Pvt Ltd successfully conducted a half-day executive training programme titled “Leading with AI – Empowering Leaders for the Future of Work” on 30th March 2026 at the head office of Norlanka Manufacturing Colombo Limited.
This programme was designed for a cross-functional group of 30 senior leaders representing all departments of the organization. It was focused on equipping leaders with practical understanding of Artificial Intelligence and its real business applications within the apparel manufacturing environment.
The session was facilitated by Mr. Pesala Sampath, Lead Consultant – Virtualization, who guided participants through key areas including AI fundamentals for managers, current developments in the AI landscape, AI capabilities and limitations, and hands-on exposure to leading AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude for communication, research, analysis, and executive decision-making.
The workshop emphasized leadership clarity over technical depth, enabling participants to confidently engage in AI-driven conversations, identify realistic opportunities within their operations, and strategically adopt AI to enhance productivity and decision-making.
