This document intend to describe the terms and conditions on which Lanka Talents Creation (Pvt) Ltd ( the Company) allows you to access and use the services provided by Lanka Talents web site. (the Web Site). Every time you (User) access or use Lanka Talents website, you (User) represent that you have read and agreed to the Terms and Conditions mentioned below. Please read this page carefully and any person continue to use our web site we assume he or she agrees to our terms and Conditions stated here.

General

As a User (Job Seeker, Employer or Partner, or any stake holders) of Lanka Talents web site you will be required to share relevant information on the web site. All users are responsible for ensuring that the shared content, text, images, graphics, CV and videos (“Content”) uploaded on Lanka Talents comply with all applicable laws in Sri Lanka. Lanka Talents does not take any responsibility for any illegal or inaccurate data advertised by the users and we assume all users are rational individuals. 

You acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for the form, content and accuracy of any resume or material placed by you on the Web Site. Employers are solely responsible for their postings on the Web Site. The Company is not responsible for any material posed on the Web Site that may be offensive, harmful or inaccurate although we take genuine efforts to avoid such posts.

The Users are responsible and guarantee that their content does not violate any copyright, intellectual property rights or other rights of any person or entity, and consent to release Lanka Talents from all obligations, liabilities and claims arising in connection with the use of ( or the inability to use ) the service.

Intellectual Property

The site and its original content, features and functionality are owned by Lanka Talents and are protected by Sri Lankan and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

Termination and Equitable Relief

During an event of breach of Terms and Conditions or if the company is unable to verify or authenticate any information provided by user, the company may, without notice in its sole discretion, and at any time terminate or restrict your use or access to the platform ( or any part thereof) for any reason, including, without limitation, that the company based on its judgement and perception believes you have violated or acted inconsistently with the terms and conditions.

Given the nature of these Terms and Conditions, you understand and agree that, in addition to monetary damages, the Company will be entitled to equitable relief upon a breach of them by you.

Links to Other Sites

Our web site may contain links or other connections to third party web sites. The Company provides these links only as a convenience to you and does not endorse, and is not responsible for, the contents on such linked sites. Further, The Company is not responsible for any viruses’ accesses through said third-party. If you decide to access linked third party Web sites, you do so at your own risk.

Payment and Cancellation

Services – Some categories and services of Lanka Talents require payment, including but not limited to, candidate paid accounts, employer paid accounts, posting of job advertisements and ad promotions. All prices are in Sri Lankan Rupees.

Under no circumstances shall Lanka Talents refund any payments made in respect to Paid Services. However we do not intend to make undue or unethical income and you are requested to inform any over-payments , mistakenly done payments directly to our Managing Director for fair judgement . 

Amendments to Terms and Conditions

Company reserves the right to amend / alter or change all or any disclaimers or Term(s) and Condition(s) of agreement at any time without any prior notice. Such amended terms shall be posted on the platform.

Governing Law

This Agreement (and any further rules, policies, or guidelines incorporated by reference) shall be governed and constructed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.
